Trusted Software Developers
Our History
Back in 1995 a group of three firms were looking for a Windows based trust accounting system to replace a DOS application. After searching the market and coming up short they decided to commission the software they needed and formed the company FinApps to do so.
The band of three consisted of a family office, an offshore trust company and a UK corporate trust company. The system they developed was called Troika after Tchaikovsky’s The Seasons: November (Troika). Word spread of the new system and in response to demand, Troika joined the commercial market in 1998.
In 2009 FinApps become thewealthworks and has continued to grow a global client base with customers as far reaching as Mauritius and Hong Kong.

thewealthworks and the GDPR
thewealthworks has a long history of providing reliable and trustworthy systems for our customers. An integral part of this service is our commitment to privacy and how we protect personal data both as an organisation and as part of Troika Accounting and WealthWorks+.
Our customer relations and after-sales service is key to how we support our client base. We value customer trust; the protection of personal data and compliance with applicable privacy laws are key to what we do.
The majority of our client relationships define us as Data Processors, as opposed to Data Controllers and although both relationships may result in different obligations we approach both roles with equal rigour. We regularly review our privacy policy and have a number of internal policies which dictate how we process information. These standards are constantly subject to renewal and review so you can rest assured that we take this issue seriously.
