New Troika clients in Hong Kong, Monaco and Jersey

Global Growth

thewealthworks are very pleased to report a continuing growth in our global client base. Troika is attracting a lot of attention from a diverse range of clients from legal firms and chartered accountancy practices to offshore companies and family offices.

Recent additions to our client community include a single family office in Monaco and an offshore global trust company based in Hong Kong, which provides a full range of trust services to multinational families. A FTSE250 Jersey-based client, enjoying rapid expansion, has also been increasing its Troika licences in line with its success.

Sales of our probate software have risen; Troika’s robust accounting engine makes it a natural choice for chartered accountants coming into the probate market. With the help of Troika several Top 50 accountancy firms are now growing their probate business. More lawyers are also trusting Troika to manage their probate cases including an East Anglian law firm ranked in the top tier for personal tax, trusts and probate in both Chambers and Legal 500, who acquired Troika for both trust and estates.

From Strength to Strength

As we head towards the last quarter of 2017 there’s no glimpse of sales slowing down.

One of the product’s appeal is the continued development that goes into Troika to assist practitioners with regulatory demands. All firms who deal with trusts, whether they are in the UK or offshore, are concerned with an increasing burden of regulatory compliance obligations under the Automatic Exchange of Information (AEOI), which includes FATCA and CRS. They are looking for reliable software that can cope with rapid regulatory change and Troika ticks that box. The next release will also see an addition to capture LEIs – a new requirement under the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID II) and Regulation (MiFIR), which takes effect in the UK in January 2018.

More recently there has been an upturn in contentious probate cases. Private client practitioners need agile software at their disposal to deal with very complicated cases. Accurate and reliable software that dramatically reduces the chances of data error, effortlessly completes IHT forms and automates accounts production is the tipping point for accountants to add probate to their range of services and increase their turnover.

thewealthworks are also continuing to invest in Troika’s development. We are driving forward some very exciting new features for 2018, introducing the newest responsive technology to create a multi-device interface to firmly establish Troika’s future in the wealth management software market.
