Leading Private Client Barrister to Address Troika User Group

We are delighted to announce that one of the UK’s brightest legal minds, private client barrister Edward Hewitt, has agreed to be the guest speaker at our forthcoming User Group.

Legal Leader

Barrister Edward Hewitt has a broad Chancery practice based at Lincoln’s Inn. His primary focus is private client work and he predominantly acts as a litigator in disputes concerning estates and trusts, including offshore trusts. He has also been called upon to deliver seminars for organisations such as CLT, several regional Law Societies and STEP and is a regular contributor to Gill Steel’s website, LawSkills.

Straight out of Court

Edward will be providing an update on the latest court decisions on private client cases and the implications these will have for practitioners.

Mick Jones, managing director at thewealthworks, said:

Our annual user group is highly popular with our clients as it provides both product updates and a chance to input ideas and suggestions through small workshops and personal interaction.

However, it can be difficult to find a speaker that has an appeal to both our UK and our offshore clients. Not only is Edward Hewitt at the sharp end of UK trust and estate disputes, but his offshore practice has given him considerable experience advising on contentious and non-contentious trust issues in Jersey and Cayman.

We want to offer all the user group attendees the opportunity to hear from someone with Edward’s knowledge and his practice background gives him the broad appeal needed to be relevant to all our clients.

The Troika User Group takes place at the Sofitel Gatwick on Thursday 12 October.  Further information is available by contacting Di Pospisil on 01444 401333
