Introducing Plus Composer: A New Era of Document Generation
We’re excited to introduce Plus Composer, our new document templating and generation tool, designed to make creating and managing documents more flexible, efficient and user-friendly. Plus Composer is available in our latest WealthWorks+ 4.21 release.
Familiar Document Generation, Enhanced Capabilities
For existing users, generating documents will feel reassuringly familiar. Document generation continues to be available through:
- Entities > Statutory Forms from the main menu
- Entity > Documents > + within an individual entity
Your existing document generation processes remain unchanged, ensuring a seamless transition while unlocking powerful new functionality behind the scenes.
Centralised Template Management
One of the major enhancements delivered with Plus Composer is the ability to centrally manage document templates.
Template administration can now be found under:
Options > System Administration > Composer Admin
From this area, administrators can:
- Upload new document templates
- Remove outdated templates
- Maintain a central library of approved templates
Any templates stored within Composer Admin automatically become available to users when generating documents through Entity > Documents > +, ensuring consistency and improving governance across your organisation.
Create and Edit Templates with Ease
For organisations that wish to design or customise their own templates, we’ve introduced the Plus Composer Word Add-in.
The add-in enables users to create, edit and maintain templates directly within Microsoft Word, providing a familiar environment for document design while taking advantage of Plus Composer’s powerful data merge capabilities.
Flexible Deployment Options
The Plus Composer Word Add-in can be installed in one of two ways:
- Connected to your local Plus web application
- Connected to our publicly available web service
This flexibility allows organisations to choose the deployment method that best suits their infrastructure and operational requirements.
